In view of the Defendant's admission of guilt, the prosecution counsel reviewed the facts of the case and tendered 11 documents as exhibits, urging the court to convict and sentence the Defendant accordingly. The trial judge thereafter, convicted and sentenced the Defendant to pay the sum of N100,000.00 to the federal government or risk a 10 years jail term. The trial judge further ordered that the EFCC should recover the proceeds of the crime from the convict and transfer it in favour of the PPMC.
