The trial judge, subsequently sentenced the Defendant to one (1) year imprisonment from the date of his conviction, with an option of N250,000.00 fine. The judge also ordered him to restitute the sum to his victim, through the Federal Government of Nigeria, and to also forfeit all items recovered from him to the Federal Government.
