The trial judge, subsequently sentenced the Defendant to six (6) months imprisonment or community service of three (3) months. The trial judge also ordered the convict to restitute the sum of $1200 to his victim, through the Federal Government of Nigeria, and to also forfeit all items recovered from him to the Federal Government.
