In view of the defendant’s plea, the trial judge thereafter convicted and sentenced her to one year imprisonment with an option of N1,000,000.00 ( One Million Naira) fine. The judge also ordered the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service NIS, Mrs. Kemi Nanna Nandap, to ensure that the convict is repatriated to her country of origin within seven days upon completion of her sentence. The devices recovered from the convict were also ordered forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
