In view of the defendant's plea, the trial judge thereafter convicted and sentenced him to five years imprisonment with an option of N400,000.00 (Four Hundred Thousand Naira) fine. In addition the convict forfeited an iPhone 16 Plus and the sum of $500.00 (Five Hundred Dollars), being the tool and proceeds of his crime, respectively to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
