Following the Defendant's admission of guilt, the prosecution counsel reviewed the facts of the case and urged the court to convict him according to the provisions of the law. Consequently, the trial judge found the Defendant guilty and sentenced him to three (3) months imprisonment on counts 1 and 2, with option of fine of N100,000.00 each. And three (3) months imprisonment on count three with N50,000.00 option of fine. According to the judge, the sentence would commence on the 23rd of December, 2020 in view of the ongoing examinations at the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, involving the convict. The judge also ordered the convict to forfeit his mobile phones and restitute his victims.
