In view of the defendant's plea, the trial judge thereafter, convicted and sentenced him to six months imprisonment with an option of N100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) fine, and one month of community service to be supervised by a guarantor. Failure to perform the service, the said guarantor shall pay a fine of N100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Naira) fine. The proceeds of the crime recovered from the convict were ordered to be forfeited to the federal government.
