Case Update
In view of the defendant’s plea, the trial judge thereafter convicted and sentenced him to three months imprisonment with the option of N1,000,000.00 (One Million Naira) fine. The Judge ordered that the iPhone 13 recovered from him as well as the N4,000,000.00 (Four Million Naira) manager’s cheque raised as restitution be forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
